Limits and good to know
Filafy is in beta and runs on one modest server, so a few things are capped to keep it responsive for everybody. Nothing here deletes your work: hitting a limit means waiting, and anything already made stays yours.
Limits
These are starting points, not promises, and we expect to raise them as the app matures and leaves beta.

| Background removal | 100 per hour | This counts cutouts, not adjustments. Switching Remove background on for an image runs an AI model once, and that is what costs you one. Dragging the Sensitivity slider afterwards is free however much you move it, because it re traces the cutout Filafy already has and never re runs the model. Cutting out a different image is a new one. |
| Live previews | 90 per minute | Generous enough to drag a slider freely. One preview renders at a time per account. |

If you hit a limit, Filafy tells you at the point you hit it. The one exception is the live preview, which simply stops refreshing for a moment rather than interrupting you.
Good to know
- Saved projects auto delete after 30 days, so download anything you want to keep.
- Saved projects are full projects: click one under My Projects to reopen its result page, compare with the original, adjust and re convert, or re download any format, its 3MF included.
- Conversions use monthly credits, and the allotment renews on the 1st of each month. Live previews are always free, and a failed or cancelled conversion costs nothing.
- If the queue is busy you can close the tab and we will email you when your image is ready.
- You can link Discord or Google under Settings → Account and sign in with either, no password needed. A provider sign in whose verified email matches your confirmed Filafy address connects to your existing account automatically.
- Confirming your email address, from the prompt at the top of Settings → Account, makes sure a password reset can actually reach you. It is also what allows a connected sign in to match your account.
